(June 17, 2024) Vicious Biscuit, the award-winning fast-casual breakfast concept and Southern-made originator of bold biscuit creations, is officially opening its doors in Akron, Ohio, on Friday, June 21. The new 5,500 square-foot location at 3900 Medina Road in Montrose will also feature its renowned “Jam Bar” of custom signature jams and flavored butters, making its biscuits even more scrumptious for consumption.

“We are thrilled to officially open our doors to Akron,” says franchisee, Carl Albright, who hails from the area. “Vicious Biscuit is very different and unlike anything in Northeast Ohio. It has a more youthful feel and energy. The community has already shown us it’s craving this offering from the enthusiasm we’ve received during the soft opening phase leading up to this grand opening day.”

On Friday, June 21, Vicious Biscuit will have patrons craving for more with the following festivities:

  • Thurs., June 20 – Official Ribbon Cutting at 9 a.m.
  • Fri., June 21 – First 100 guests receive a FREE Vicious Biscuit entrée each month for an entire year (limit one per family), accompanied by a koozie and sticker.

Guests will be served from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The new Akron, OH location will seat up to 140 patrons inside and 24 patrons outside.
